1pm - 2pm ET
The success or failure of endodontically treated teeth often depends more on the quality of the restoration than the endo itself. This course will walk participants through the principles that will ensure a quality restoration and long term success when a fiber post and core are used
TOPICS TO BE COVERED:
- The modern day decision tree – when should posts be used
- The selection of the appropriate post
- The secret to clinical success – the necessary adjunctive aids to treat the canal properly and a simple step-by-step technique to minimize air bubbles and achieve maximum bond strength of the post and core
- Do you need to use a post cement and then a core material or can you do it all at once?
BENEFITS OF ATTENDING:
Systems of posts and the proper technique for etching, bonding, and cementing fibre posts will be presented that will enhance retention, decrease the possibility of root fracture, and allow for retrievability if needed.
LIVE TECHNIQUE DEMONSTRATION:
A technique to minimize air bubbles and achieve maximum bond strength of the post and core.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Any dentist who is completing and / or restoring endodontic treatment in their office
