This course explores the form and function of the lips, tongue, and facial muscles and their role in normal and atypical swallowing patterns. Attendees will review common orofacial myofunctional disorders, key clinical considerations, and the impact these patterns may have on dental and orthodontic treatment. The session will also examine considerations for dental and orthodontic intervention as part of a comprehensive approach to patient care.
