Endodontics continues to evolve through advances in diagnostics, imaging, biologically based therapies, and laser technology. This educational program is designed to provide referring general dentists with an overview of the latest innovations shaping contemporary endodontic care and how these advancements can benefit their patients.
Participants will gain insight into diagnosis and case selection, the value of CBCT in treatment planning, the clinical applications of vital pulp therapy, and a simple, predictable pulp capping technique. The program will also feature a live demonstration of laser-assisted irrigation using the EdgePRO™ laser system, highlighting how advanced technology is being integrated into specialty endodontic practice.
Attendees will leave with a better understanding of modern endodontic treatment, increased confidence in identifying cases appropriate for referral, and an appreciation for how partnering with a technologically advanced endodontic practice can help optimize patient outcomes.

Dr. Andrew Kim
Dr. Andrew Kim received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After earning his DMD degree from University of Pennsylvania, he completed a general practice residency program at Philadelphia VA Medical Center.
Then, Dr. Kim returned to University of Pennsylvania for specialty training in Endodontics. During his years at Penn, Dr. Kim also served as an instructor for Penn’s Microscope Training Center, where dentists around the world come to learn microsurgical techniques. Before joining North Penn Endodontics, Dr. Kim founded Newtown Endodontics in Bucks county, and also practiced in New Jersey for years, providing the highest level of surgical and non-surgical endodontic care. Dr. Kim is married with three daughters, and a big fan of the English Premier League. He is an avid skier and enjoys playing golf and tennis.
