Throughout this course, the importance of combining the use of the rubber dam with the incorporation of technology into everyday dentistry will be emphasized. The significance of the rubber dam demonstrates a key role in direct and indirect preparations, composite placement and esthetics. Several rubber dam placement techniques will be outlined and demonstrated in addition to learning how to integrate rubber dam’s use with your scanning protocol. Along with scanning, the benefits of partial coverage restorations will be also discussed with an emphasis on semi-indirect composite onlays.

- This course is geared for dental students, residents and recent graduates, but can also be beneficial for general dentists interested in incorporating scanning technology as well as improving their restorative outcomes through the expanded use of rubber dam.
