EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE:

We will explore the full patient journey for those presenting with endodontic symptoms, focusing on efficient workflows and predictable clinical outcomes from diagnosis to restoration. Emphasis will be placed on accurate diagnosis and clear understanding of endodontic terminology to help set patient expectations and guide treatment planning. Participants will review best practices in instrumentation and techniques that support precise, anatomical, and minimally invasive canal shaping. The course will cover ideal armamentarium and clinical steps including imaging, working length determination, cleaning and shaping, obturation, and restoration. Case selection, common causes of endodontic failure, and the importance of recognizing clinical limitations will also be discussed. Attendees will learn about modern obturation approaches using bioceramic materials that promote a fluid-tight seal and long-term success. The course will conclude with a review of restorative considerations to ensure optimal outcomes following endodontic treatment.

  • Loupes and light source
  • 3 to 5 extracted, accessed teeth (sterilized) - no third molars
